Consensus Commission Holds Meeting to Finalize July National Charter 2025

Dhaka: The National Consensus Commission today convened a meeting at the conference room of the commission's office in the National Parliament Building to finalize and implement the July National Charter 2025.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting extensively discussed the process of finalizing the national charter and explored potential methods for its implementation. The discussions were a continuation from the previous day, where the commission analyzed feedback and suggestions from various political parties. Following this review, the commission plans to engage with experts next week for further discussions.

Subsequently, the finalized charter, along with recommendations for its implementation, will be forwarded to the political parties collectively. Additionally, the meeting involved a re-evaluation of the charter's linguistic accuracy to ensure precision.

The meeting was attended by Commission Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, members Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Safar Raj Hossain, Dr. Md. Ayub Mia, and Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Manir Haidar.
