Naogaon: A free medical camp was held today at the Shikarpur Union Parishad premises in Sadar upazila to commemorate the 47th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a team of 12 physicians, led by Dr. Iskender Ali, district president of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), provided necessary medical treatment to the local residents. The camp facilitated the distribution of around 20 types of medicines at no cost to the patients.

Situated in the remote area of Shikarpur Union in Sadar upazila, the camp benefited approximately 500 poor and underprivileged individuals by offering them access to free healthcare services. The initiative was part of the broader celebrations organized by the BNP to mark its anniversary.

District BNP President Abu Bakkar Siddique Nannu, Jubo Dal convener Masud Haider Tip, and other BNP leaders and activists were present at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Abu Bakkar Siddique Nannu highlighted that the medical camp was organized on the third day of a series of programs that spanned six days to celebrate the party’s founding anniversary.
