Dhaka: A motorcyclist was killed today in a collision involving a pickup van, a CNG, and a motorbike on the flyover slope on Jasim Uddin Road in the capital's Uttara West. The deceased was identified as Fuad Hasan Hridoy, aged 26, who was the son of Mohammad Faizur Rahman and hailed from Khas Naogaon Islampur Village in Naogaon Sadar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the incident occurred around 6:30 am, as confirmed by police and hospital sources. Fuad Hasan Hridoy was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead at approximately 8:30 am.
Mohammad Rajib Hasan, who transported the deceased to the hospital, reported that he discovered the young man lying on the road in the early hours and took it upon himself to rescue him in an injured state and bring him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The on-duty doctor later confirmed Fuad Hasan Hridoy's death.
