Dhaka: Social Welfare Adviser Sharmin S Murshid today condemned the attack on Nurul Haque Nur, stating that such an inhumane attack is not acceptable in any way. "A specialized medical board has been formed to monitor the health condition of Nurul Haque Nur and other injured members of his party. The government is monitoring them around the clock to ensure the highest quality of medical care," she said.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sharmin made these remarks while visiting the injured Gana Adhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur and other party members at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. She inquired about their health conditions and emphasized the importance of providing the highest standard of medical treatment.
Sharmin, who is also the Adviser on Women and Children Affairs, instructed the medical team to ensure the injured receive optimal care. She mentioned the possibility of sending them abroad for better treatment if necessary. During her visit, Dhaka Medical College Hospital Director Brig. Gen. Md Asaduzzaman and senior doctors were in attendance.
