Feni: A motorcyclist was killed and another injured in a road accident in front of Feni Municipality on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway this morning. The deceased was Md. Shahin, 21, son of Mohammad Saiful Islam of Nijkunjara area under Chagalnaiya upazila of the district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred around 10 am when a truck hit the motorcycle from behind, leaving its rider, Shahin, dead on the spot and its pillion passenger, Yunus, 22, injured. Harun-Ur-Rashid, Officer-in-Charge of Feni Mahipal Highway Police, confirmed the incident.
The injured was promptly taken to Feni General Hospital for medical assistance.
