Dhaka: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Aminul Islam Bulbul is set to engage with both the High Performance (HP) and Women's cricket team players in the coming days. A series of meetings are planned as part of an ongoing initiative to foster communication and collaboration within Bangladesh cricket.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Aminul recently organized a value-sharing session titled 'Share and Care' with the Men's national team at a local hotel. During the session, players discussed various concerns and requested action from the BCB president. This initiative is aimed at strengthening the unity and effectiveness of the teams through regular and open dialogue.
Aminul, who is also Bangladesh's former Test captain and the nation's first Test centurion, emphasized the significance of these meetings. He noted, "The session was an important step toward building a stronger, more unified environment for everyone involved in Bangladesh cricket." He further highlighted the benefits of direct communication, stating that the insights gained from players and team management are invaluable.
The BCB president stressed the importance of clear communication and meaningful connections as essential tools for bridging gaps, building trust, and aligning goals. "This session allowed us to listen to one another, understand different perspectives, and commit to working together with purpose," Aminul remarked. He expressed his belief that unified efforts pave the way for sustained success both on and off the field.
In his ongoing commitment to inclusive engagement, Aminul plans to meet with the HP players next week. The Women's team, currently occupied with a tri-nation tournament at BKSP in preparation for the upcoming ICC Women's World Cup, will meet with the president following their tournament commitments. Additionally, Aminul intends to hold discussions with the Under-19 team as part of his wider strategy to involve all cricket stakeholders.
