Dhaka: The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 2,641 cases against motor vehicles and drivers for violating traffic rules in the capital during the last one day. The DMP’s ongoing campaign aims to bring the traffic system under proper management.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Media and Public Relations Division reported that 431 motor vehicles were dumped and 125 vehicles were wrecked during the campaign against traffic rules violation on August 20. The DMP release further stated that these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka’s streets.
