Dhaka: Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) has officially launched an online appointment service for its Radiology and Imaging Department aiming to ease patient suffering and reduce overcrowding. This new digital initiative will allow patients to schedule diagnostic tests-including CT scans, MRIs, ultrasonograms, X-rays, and contrast X-rays-without having to wait in long queues from early morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the inauguration ceremony was held on the fourth floor of F Block at the BMU, with Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Shahinul Alam formally inaugurating the service as the chief guest. BMU Treasurer Prof Dr Nahrin Akhtar attended the event as a special guest, with BMU’s Chairman of the Radiology and Imaging Department Prof Dr Habiba Khatun presiding over the ceremony.
