Chattogram: The Coast Guard in Chattogram has successfully seized 1,000 litres of stolen soybean oil valued at Tk 170,000 in the Patenga coast area. This operation took place today as part of their ongoing efforts to combat illegal activities along the coast.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Lieutenant Rafid-as-Sami, a media officer for the Coast Guard Chattogram region, reported that a suspicious engine-operated wooden boat was intercepted during the operation. The interception led to the confiscation of approximately 1,000 litres of stolen soybean oil.
The seized boat and the soybean oil are now undergoing legal procedures for further action, ensuring that necessary measures are taken to address the incident.
