Women’s Volleyball Team’s Camp Set to Commence at BKSP

Savar: Bangladesh national women’s volleyball team’s training camp is scheduled to commence this Saturday at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in Savar, in preparation for two upcoming international tournaments.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh Volleyball Federation general secretary Bimal Ghosh Bhulu announced that the players are expected to report to the federation this Friday. The camp will officially start the following day, aiming to provide rigorous training to the athletes.

A total of thirty-one players have been selected for this camp. These players have been chosen based on their performances in various competitions, including the Festival of Youth. The training camp will be conducted under the guidance of a local coach and is expected to run until January of the next year.

The Bangladesh women’s volleyball team is gearing up to participate in two major international tournaments. First, they will compete in the CAVA Women’s Championship 2025, which is set to be h
eld in the Maldives from September 24 to 30. Following this, the team will participate in the 14th South Asian Games, scheduled for January 23 to 31 across three cities in Pakistan.
