Khulna: A woman was killed in a road accident on Khulna-Satkhira highway in Dumuria upazila in the district this morning. The deceased was identified as Moyna, 45, wife of Arif Molla, from Mautla village in Satkhira.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred in Dumuria upazila when an ambulance fell into a roadside ditch as the driver lost control over the vehicle. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kharnia Highway Police Station, Fazlul Karim, confirmed the details of the incident.
Moyna was immediately rushed to the hospital where the on-duty doctors declared her dead, the OC added.
