DU Pro-Vice Chancellor Engages in Collaborative Dialogue with Japanese Professor Emeritus Kenichi

Dhaka: Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Mamun Ahmed today met with Japanese Kansai University’s Professor Emeritus Dr. Kenichi Kubota. The meeting took place at the office of the DU Pro-Vice Chancellor.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of enhancing academic and research collaboration between the two universities. They discussed potential opportunities for faculty members, researchers, and students to engage in exchange programs, fostering a deeper inter-university relationship.



The meeting was also attended by Prof. Kenichi’s student, Karen Yoshimi, and Prof. Nure Alam Siddique from Dhaka University’s Institute of Education and Research (IER). The gathering underscored the mutual interest in strengthening educational ties and exploring new avenues for cooperative ventures.



Following the meeting, Professor Kenichi delivered a lecture at the University’s IER on ‘Learning Assessment in the Age of AI,’ highlighting the evolving challenges and methodologies in education brought about by advancements in artificial intelligence.
