According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Met office bulletin issued this morning indicated that “light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions.” This broad weather system suggests significant rainfall across various parts of the country, particularly affecting the northern and northeastern regions.
In addition to the precipitation forecast, the bulletin also noted a potential slight rise in day and night temperatures across the country, indicating a shift in weather dynamics. The highest temperature recorded on Saturday was 34.4 degrees Celsius in Baghabari under the Rajshahi division, while today’s minimum temperature was reported at 22.6 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
Residents in the capital should note that the sun is expected to set at 6:36 pm today and rise at 5:32 am tomorrow, as per the meteorological data provided.
