Rain Predicted Over Bangladesh in the Next 24 Hours

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions. Many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions are also expected to experience these weather conditions, with moderately heavy to very heavy falls anticipated at places over Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions, as stated in a Met office bulletin issued this morning.



The bulletin further indicated that both day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country. The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur under Rangpur division, while the minimum temperature today was 22.8 degrees Celsius in Barishal. Residents of the capital can expect the sun to set at 6:37 pm today and rise at 5:31 am tomorrow.
