Dhaka: A five-member delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, is set to participate in the July Declaration event taking place today at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the delegation will also include BNP Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, and Salahuddin Ahmed. This participation was confirmed through an official notice distributed to the media by Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of the BNP Standing Committee.
The decision for the delegation's participation was finalized during a meeting of the BNP's Standing Committee, which occurred at the party chairperson's office in Gulshan on Monday. The meeting, which started at 8:30 pm and ended at 10:30 pm, was chaired virtually by BNP's acting chairman, Tarique Rahman.
