Dhaka: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized huge Indian fireworks worth Taka 95.67 lakh from Rasulpur area under Sadar Dakshin upazila of the district this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a BGB team from Cumilla BGB-10 Battalion conducted the drive on a tip-off and seized 4,75,840 pieces of illegal Indian fireworks. A BGB press release confirmed the operation.
The seized goods will be deposited at the customs, the release added.
