Barishal: Three dengue patients died and 331 were hospitalized across the country in the last 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the period, 132 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division while 30 were reported in Chattogram division, 73 in Dhaka division, 28 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 47 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 18 in Khulna division, and three in Mymensingh division, as stated in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases has risen to 19,120 this year, with 73 deaths reported from the mosquito-borne disease. During the last 24 hours, 275 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the country after receiving treatment.
The statement also highlighted that last year, the total number of cases reached 101,214, with 575 deaths reported from the dengue disease.
