Dhaka: Shipping Adviser Brig Gen (retd) Dr. M Sakhawat Hussain announced today that the government is extending comprehensive support to the families affected by the recent plane crash in Uttara.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a specialized medical team from Singapore has been brought in to offer advanced treatment to patients who sustained serious burn injuries. During his visit to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Hussain emphasized the importance of providing top-notch care to those injured in the air force training plane crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara.
The victims, including school students, teachers, and rescue team members, are currently receiving treatment at the CMH. The adviser interacted with patients and instructed the medical staff to deliver the best possible care. He also checked on the condition of students injured during the July Uprising.
Describing the Uttara plane crash as a tragic incident for the nation, Hussain expressed his deep sorrow and offered prayers for the deceased. He extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving families and wished for the swift recovery of those injured.
Hussain assured that the government is committed to taking all necessary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. His visit was attended by senior officials and specialized doctors from the hospital.
