Dhaka: The government has implemented a change in the leadership of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) by appointing Group Captain Md. Monirul Islam as the new Director of Flight Safety and Regulations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration announced that Group Captain Md. Ahsan Habib, who previously held the position, has been withdrawn and reassigned to the Bangladesh Air Force. His service has now been placed under the Armed Forces Division.
Group Captain Md. Monirul Islam, hailing from the Bangladesh Air Force, will take over the responsibilities of the post. His service has been deputed to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, as stated in the notification.
