Cumilla: A joint force team in a drive arrested two alleged arms traders with four shotguns from two separate areas of the city here early this morning. The arrested individuals are Md. Abu Haider, 40, from the Muradpur area of Cumilla Kotwali Police Station, and Mujibar Rahman alias Penu Mirza, 38, from the Nurpur area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a joint force team conducted separate operations in the city, leading to the arrest of the suspects. The authorities recovered four shotguns, a foreign knife, two android phones, two button phones, a passport, and an LG cartridge from their possession, as reported by Mohinul Islam, the officer-in-charge of Cumilla Kotwali Model Police Station.
