Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,069 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Traffic Division conducted these actions on July 21 as part of a regular drive targeting traffic rule violators.
The DMP sources reported that during the campaign, 300 motor vehicles were dumped and 130 vehicles were towed. This effort was aimed at enforcing compliance with traffic regulations in the city. A press release issued today highlighted that the drives against traffic rule breakers will persist to maintain order on Dhaka's streets.
