Dhaka: A doa and munajat was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque today after Johr prayers seeking eternal peace for those who lost their lives in Monday's Air Force fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College in the city's Uttara, and for the swift recovery of the injured. The prayer session was conducted by Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Hafez Maulana M Muhiuddin Kashem, as stated in a handout issued by the Press Information Department (PID).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, officials and employees of the Islamic Foundation, including its Director of Dwini Dawat and Cultural Section, Dr Mohammad Harunur Rashid, were present during the doa and munajat. The Islamic Foundation has also urged mosque committees across the country to organize similar doa and munajat programs for the victims of the incident, which included casualties among students.
