Dhaka: Advisers of the interim government today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the loss of lives in the crash of a training jet of Bangladesh Air Force on a school building in the capital. Finance Adviser Dr Saleh Uddin Ahmed, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazurl, Home Adviser Lt. Gen. (retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, and several other advisers expressed their deep shock and sorrow over the incident.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the advisers, in separate messages, prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members. They also prayed for the quick recovery of those injured in the crash.
