Dhaka: Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has canceled leaves of all officials and employees of Zone-1. The leaves were cancelled to ensure quick response of the DNCC in rescue operation and other activities following the crash of a training jet of Bangladesh Air Force on a school building in Uttara.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Administrator Mohammad Ejaz stated that DNCC is ready to provide any necessary assistance. He emphasized that DNCC's health department and waste management department are prepared to deal with this crisis efficiently.
Earlier, Ejaz expressed profound shock and sorrow at the loss of lives in the crash. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved families.
