Lalmonirhat: A man lost his life while his wife and child sustained injuries in a road accident when a truck collided with their motorcycle in the Namuri Bazar area of Aditmari upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased, identified as Debabrata Roy, also known as Dasu Roy, was 48 years old and hailed from Radhaballab Harati village in the Rangpur Sadar upazila. He died immediately at the scene of the accident. His wife, Misti Rani, aged 30, and their 6-year-old son, Mithal Chandra, were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Officer-in-Charge of Aditmari Police Station, Ali Akbar, confirmed the incident, providing details of the accident’s location and the victims involved.
