Cumilla: Due to floods and adverse weather conditions in Feni, the previously postponed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under the Cumilla Board, initially scheduled for July 10, will now be held on August 12. Board of Education Examination Controller Runa Nasrin confirmed the information.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision to delay the exams was made following a sudden deterioration of the flood situation in the districts under the Cumilla Board. The rise in floodwaters affected various districts, including Feni and Noakhali, prompting the postponement of the exams initially scheduled for July 10.
Runa Nasrin, the examination controller of the Cumilla Board, emphasized that the postponement was necessary due to worsening flood conditions in several areas under its jurisdiction. She assured that the exams will proceed on August 12 as the situation improves.
