Manikganj: Twenty-one hard-up cultural activists of Manikganj District received financial cheques from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. The cheques were distributed under the auspices of the Manikganj District Administration.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj, Dr. Manwar Hossein Malla, was present at the function as the chief guest. The event was presided over by District Cultural Officer Moklesa Hilary.
The cultural activists, hailing from various areas within the district, gathered in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner to receive the financial support. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Manwar Hossein Malla emphasized that the support is not only financial but also a gesture of respect towards the cultural activists. He highlighted the importance of their contributions, noting that cultural activities are conducted and developed through their hard work.
