Dhaka: Saudi Arabia has expressed a keen interest in working closely to further strengthen the warm bilateral relations with Bangladesh. This development was highlighted during a courtesy call by the newly appointed Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh, Dr. Abdullah Zafer H. Bin Abiyah, on Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain at the foreign ministry today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the meeting, Foreign Adviser Hossain warmly welcomed Ambassador Abiyah and assured him of full support in his endeavors to enhance the ties between the two nations. He also expressed satisfaction with the excellent existing bilateral relations between the brotherly countries, which have been thriving over the years.
Furthermore, the Saudi envoy took the opportunity to pay a separate courtesy call on Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam, as mentioned in the ministry’s press release. These diplomatic engagements underscore the mutual commitment to foster and expand the collaborative partnership between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh.
