Dhaka: The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Sunday filed 1,873 cases against traffic law violators in different areas of the capital. The operation saw enforcement actions against numerous vehicles for failing to comply with traffic regulations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the operation also resulted in 334 vehicles being dumped and 170 vehicles being wrecked. This enforcement effort underscores the DMP's commitment to maintaining order on the roads and ensuring the safety of all road users in Dhaka.
The DMP has pledged to continue its operations to uphold traffic discipline across the Dhaka metropolitan area. The police department emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic laws to avoid penalties and ensure smooth traffic flow in the bustling capital.
