Gopalganj: A man was killed in a road accident in the West Gopinathpur area under Muksudpur upazila of the district this morning. The deceased was identified as Jahangir Sardar, 45, a resident of West Gopinathpur village of Muksudpur Municipality.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred on the Dhaka-Khulna highway when an unknown vehicle ran over Jahangir while he was crossing the road. Sheetal Chandra Pal, Officer-in-Charge of Muksudpur Police Station (Investigation), confirmed the incident and stated that the vehicle involved in the accident remains unidentified.
