Pabna: A youth died after being hit by a train at the Koiratola railway line adjacent to the Ishwardi Rail Gate in the district today. The deceased was identified as Akash, 25, son of Ramesh, a resident of Darinaricha Harijan Colony in Ishwardi town.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Ziaur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Ishwardi Railway Police Station, stated that Akash was walking along the railway line when he accidentally fell in front of the Khulna-bound intercity Chitra Express train. He was run over and died on the spot.
