BSF Pushes Seven Individuals into Bangladesh from Jamalpur Frontier

Jamalpur: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) have pushed seven persons, including four women, into Bangladesh from the Dhanua Kamalpur border in Bakshiganj Upazila of the district. Local residents apprehended the group and subsequently handed them over to Bakshiganj police.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BSF pushed the individuals near Pillar No-1083 in the Dhanua Kamalpur frontier early this morning. Officer-in-charge of Bakshiganj Police Station, Khandakar Shaker Ahmed, confirmed that the local population detained the individuals before turning them over to the authorities. He stated that legal action would be determined following an interrogation of the group.
