Three July Uprising Martyrs’ Families Receive Financial Aid in Netrakona

Netrakona: The district administration distributed financial assistance to three martyrs’ families of the 2024 July Uprising. Deputy Commissioner Banani Biswas presented savings certificates worth Taka 10 lakh to each family during a ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room this afternoon.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this initiative follows the earlier distribution of similar savings certificates to 14 other martyr families in the district. The event was moderated by Additional District Magistrate Sukhmoy Sarkar, with several notable figures in attendance. Senior Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Md. Shahnur Rahman, District Press Club Secretary Mahbubul Kibria Chowdhury Helim, and District BNP Joint Convener SM Moniruzzaman Dudu were among the attendees. Representatives from various political and civic organizations, including Jatiya Nagorik Party Central Organizer Pritam Sohag and Assistant Secretary General of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Khilafat Movement Gazi Abdur Rahim Ruhi, also participated in the event.
