Lalmonirhat: The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested three drug peddlers and seized 188 bottles of phensedyl from their possession in Rudreshwar village in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat on Monday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a team from the RAB-13 conducted a raid and arrested the suspects with the contraband items in their possession at 12:50 pm, as stated in a press release.
The arrestees are Josna Begum, 50, wife of Md Shajahan Ali; Marjina Begum, 46, wife of Mokbul Hossain of Gohail village under Shajahanpur police station; and Lailey Begum, 58, wife of Mohammad Ali of Gokul (Paschimpara) village under Sadar police station of Bogura district.
The elite force handed over the arrestees and the seized phensedyl to Kaliganj police station of Lalmonirhat for further legal action.
