Chattogram: Religion Affairs Adviser Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain today highlighted the importance of making orphans self-reliant, emphasizing their potential contribution to the country’s development. “It is not enough to just provide for orphans, but it is necessary to make them self-reliant. They must be prepared in such a way that they can build their own future and become assets to the society,” he stated.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Khalid shared these insights while speaking as the chief guest at a view-sharing meeting held at Tanzimul Muslimeen Orphanage in Chattogram city. He acknowledged the efforts of the orphanage authorities in implementing education and training programs aimed at empowering the orphans to become self-sufficient.
Dr. Khalid expressed his gratitude toward the Tanzimul Muslimeen Orphanage for their commitment to equipping orphans with the necessary skills and education to ensure they can stand on their own feet.
