Narail: A day-long free medical camp was held in Narail today to provide gynecology, medicine, eye, and dental care to underprivileged people.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the camp was organized by the Educationist Sharif Atiar Rahman Smriti Parishad and served around 100 men, women, and children. The attendees received free treatment and medicines, including diabetes and blood group tests, helping to address the healthcare needs of the community.
Dr Taufiqua Hussain, a retired professor of gynecology from Dhaka Medical College, along with other physicians, volunteered their services at the camp. Their efforts ensured that a wide range of medical services were available to those in need.
Dr Sharif Jahangir Atique, son of the late educationist Sharif Atiar Rahman and retired principal of Satkhira Medical College, emphasized the importance of such initiatives. He stated that these efforts will continue in remote areas to benefit the poor, reinforcing the commitment to providing healthcare to underserved populations.
