Rangamati: Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan today said that the government is working to increase the paper production capacity of Karnaphuli Paper Mills Limited (KPML). He expressed hope that the factory will become a profitable enterprise.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser made these remarks as the chief guest in a meeting with KPML officials at the KPML conference room in Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati, said a press release. Adilur emphasized the country’s need for increased paper production to reduce reliance on imports.
Adilur stated that development activities at the mill would commence soon, aiming to boost the factory’s output and profitability.
