Two-Day Training on Public Procurement Rules Concludes at Ministry

Dhaka: A two-day training session on the Public Procurement Rules (PPR) concluded today at the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, with active participation from first-class officers and officials representing the ministry, its departments, and affiliated organizations.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, on the concluding day of the training, Md Nasimur Rahman Sharif, Joint Secretary of the Planning Department, delivered a detailed presentation covering work orders, contracts, and the delegation of financial powers in public procurement. Earlier, Masud Akhter Khan, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, inaugurated the session by discussing the scope and application of the PPR, including procurement planning, tender procedures, evaluation processes, and overall procurement strategy.



Meanwhile, the Ministry has announced that a new training session titled ‘Development Cooperation and Various Issues of International Assistance’ will be held tomorrow.
