Jashore: Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested an accused of 24 different cases from Railgate area of the district town last night. The arrested individual is Ibrahim Hossain Dollar, also known as Doing Dollar, son of Bachchu Mia of Shashtila area of the town. A team of DB police conducted a special drive in the area at midnight and apprehended Dollar, Additional Superintendent of Police Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui stated. He was produced in the court this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dollar had been involved in activities in Shashtila and Railgate areas of the town for a significant period. There are a total of 24 cases against him, which include one murder, six arms cases, six explosives cases, eight drugs cases, and two speedy trial law cases.
