Dhaka: Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has emphasized the necessity of responsible behaviour to maintain harmonious coexistence between political parties and the government. In a recent statement, he highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in preserving this delicate balance.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain expressed his views through a post on his verified Facebook account. He asserted that any decision that might damage the relationship between political entities and the government should be avoided to maintain a “beautiful” coexistence. Asif underscored the importance of responsible behaviour from all parties involved to achieve this goal.
Furthermore, Asif mentioned Ishraq Hossain, describing him as an idol for the young generation, but suggested that Ishraq might have been misled to serve certain political objectives. He indicated that such influences might still be at play, hinting at the complexities within political dynamics.
Addressing concerns about a project set to be implemented in Dhaka South City Corporation, Asif clarified his role in the decision-making process. He emphasized that the decisions are made collectively by the Council of Advisers, and he is responsible for carrying them forward. This statement aims to reassure the public of the collaborative nature of governmental decisions, reinforcing the message of accountability and shared responsibility among political leaders.
