Dhaka: A total of 151 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 86 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, 15 in Chattogram, 17 in Dhaka division, 18 in Dhaka North, 10 in Dhaka South, three in Khulna, and two in Rajshahi division, as reported by a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases has risen to 7,077, with 30 deaths reported from the disease this year. So far, 6,218 individuals have been released from hospitals.
Last year, the total number of dengue cases reached 1,01,214, with 575 deaths reported, the statement added.
