Gobindaganj: Gobindaganj police here arrested six members of an inter-district dacoit gang while they were preparing for a robbery in the Char Matha area of Gobindaganj upazila on Thursday night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the police conducted a raid around 8:00pm based on information received and successfully seized sharp weapons, tools for cutting mobile towers, and devices used to break jewelry shop locks.
The arrestees have been identified as Jewel, Rakib, Sohag, Jahurul, Faruk, and Ismail. Officer-in-Charge Bulbul Islam stated that the gang members have been handed over to DB police in Naogaon for further interrogation.
