Dhaka: A 14-member Bangladesh archery team, including three team officials, left here for Singapore this morning to take part in the 2025 Asia Cup World Ranking Tournament Stage 2, scheduled to be held from June 15-20.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the qualification round will commence on June 16 following the official practice, team managers' meeting, and equipment inspection set for June 15. The participation of the Bangladesh team in this tournament is supported by City Group, the sponsor for the Singapore-bound archery team.
The Bangladesh Archery Team comprises several participants, including Abdur Rahman Alif, Ramkrishna Saha, Md Rakib Mia, and Md Sagor Islam, who will compete in the recurve men's category. Mst. Monira Akter will represent the country in the recurve women's category. The compound men's category will feature Himu Bachar, Newaz Ahmed Rakib, and Md Sohel Rana, while Bonna Akter, Pushpita Jaman, and Mst. Kulsum Akter Moni will compete in the compound women's category.
