Dhaka: LGRD Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan has said the Bangladesh government, independent fact-checkers, and media workers have already proved the dangerous propaganda against Bangladesh by the Indian media as false.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser highlighted in his verified Facebook post that “the dangerous Indian media propaganda was started against Bangladesh by capitalizing on the fake allegations of minority repression after the ousting of Sheikh Hasina on August 5.” He emphasized that the concerned Bangladesh government, independent fact-checkers, and media workers have debunked these claims by providing real information.

In the same post, a documentary related to the false propaganda was also shared. The documentary featured the real experiences of the Hindu community during that time and offered a detailed look at the reality behind the propaganda. This documentary was created by actor Dipok Kumar Goshwami and Shahriar Swajib.

Asif further stated in his post that “Bangladesh is a country of people of all faiths, and the toppling of the then-premier Sheikh Hasina was due to coordinated protests by people of all communities.”
