Tarique Rahman Mourns Death of Kader Siddiqui’s Wife

Tangail: BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Nasrin Siddiqui, wife of freedom fighter Bangabir Abdul Kader Siddiqui.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, on behalf of Tarique Rahman, BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku visited Kader Siddiqui's Sonar Bangla residence in Tangail on Wednesday night. During his visit, he spent time with Kader Siddiqui's family, conveying the party's acting chairman's heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Sultan Salahuddin Tuku was accompanied by former Tangail District BNP member secretary Mahmudul Haque Sanu and former organizing secretary Shafiqur Rahman Khan Shafiq during the visit.

Nasrin Siddiqui passed away while receiving treatment at a private hospital in the capital on Saturday night. She was admitted to the hospital following a brain hemorrhage. A member of the central committee of the Krishak Sramik Janata League, Nasrin Siddiqui is survived by her husband, a son, and a daughter.
