Dhaka: Twenty-six dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) detailed the distribution of new hospitalizations: three patients in Chattogram, 10 in Dhaka division, four in Dhaka North, seven in Dhaka South, and two in Mymensingh.
The total number of dengue cases has risen to 4,930 this year, with 23 deaths reported due to the disease. Furthermore, 17 dengue patients were discharged from various hospitals in the past 24 hours.
The previous year saw a total of 1,01,214 dengue cases with 575 related deaths, as noted in the DGHS statement.
