Manikganj: Eid-ul-Azha, the second most significant religious festival for Muslims, is being celebrated throughout Manikganj district with festivity and religious fervor. The celebrations are bringing together people from various backgrounds to participate in communal prayers and events.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the district’s main Eid Jamat was organized at the Shahid Miraj-Tapon stadium, under the auspices of the Manikganj District Administration. This central event attracted a diverse group, including Deputy Commissioner Dr. Manwar Hossein Malla, government officials, distinguished individuals, freedom fighters, and residents from all walks of life.
The prayers were led by Multi Rafiqul Islam, Imam and Khatib of the Collectorate Jame Mosque, highlighting the communal spirit and unity of the occasion. The event provided an opportunity for community bonding and spiritual reflection, as people came together to observe this important day in the Islamic calendar.
