According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Traffic Division conducted a regular drive against traffic rule violators, filing these cases and collecting fines on May 26. The campaign aimed to address and curb the rampant disregard for traffic regulations within the city.

The press release from DMP highlighted that during this operation, 259 motor vehicles were dumped and 152 vehicles were wrecked. These measures were part of the efforts to enforce traffic discipline.

The DMP has stated that the ongoing drives against those breaking traffic rules will persist, with the goal of ensuring order on the streets of Dhaka.
