Habiganj: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) pushed 19 individuals, including women and children, into Bangladesh through the Kalenga border in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district early this morning. The incident took place around 7:30 am, as confirmed by Zakaria Ibne Kadir, the In-Charge of the Kalenga Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) camp.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the 19 individuals have been kept at the Kalenga Border Outpost (BOP) and will be handed over to the Chunarughat Police Station following the completion of legal procedures. The authorities are taking the necessary steps to deal with the situation in accordance with the law.
