Satkhira: A motorcyclist was killed as a trolley hit his motorbike on the Kulia-Komarpur road in Debhata upazila of the district today. The victim, identified as Abdur Rahman, 35, was a resident of Komarpur village within the same upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred in the Kulia area around 11 am. A brick-laden trolley collided with Rahman’s motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist. Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station, Saminul Haque, confirmed the details of the incident.
Local residents promptly responded to the accident, rescuing Rahman and transporting him to Satkhira Medical College Hospital. Despite their efforts, the on-duty doctor declared him dead upon arrival.
